Title: Service Indication
Post by: steventon95 on 21 November 2013, 11:38:27 PM
The "spare" car, being an old 900SE with the V6 engine has just flashed up that it requires a service. Does this really mean anything? Does it go away eventually? It only had an oil change about 5K ago ...

I think you can turn it off yourself.  You can on the 9-5 & 9-3. This is how it's done on those...

Try pressing the "Clear" button on the SID. Once to clear the message, then again, and hold it in for about 10 seconds.  It should beep and say "cleared", but keep the button pressed until it says "serviced".
