Title: turbo dial

on my 93 aero 2002 when i put my foot down and i watch the turbo dial it never seems to go into the red, does it matter or is my turbo not working as it should.?

You have an engine with the black ignition cassette and Trionic 7 engine management. The turbo gauge is a "dummy". It is not connected to the inlet air pressure.  It shows a signal that is generated in the ECU. It should just touch the red. But it can be changed by the Saab Tech2 diagnostic computer at a dealer to read wanting you want it to.
