Title: Failing crank sensor
Post by: Merve84 on 30 July 2011, 11:16:51 AM
Hi, I'm hoping that someone will be able to remember the ohms reading and the pin numbers to check for a good and failing crank sensor. A friend of mine has a 2002 2.3 aero and it cuts out when the engine gets hot and won't restart until it cools down.

I have looked on the site but with luck as there aren't that many threads yet. I did a quick search on the 'other site' but with little luck.

Any help would be great. Cheers.

Yes but that can change with heat.

Mine went to 1200 while hot.

It will change with heat, that's reference value for around 20C.
