As above really. I was going to post a query re recommendations for specialists in the east of England and couldn't see the obvious place to post. Most similar websites have a dedicated forum for such recommendations and I thought it might be a good idea, especially with Saab expertise getting rarer every year.
I thought I had seen something like this a few years back, but not sure where?
Good idea though to have a reputable specialist directory on here. Especially as you say, the expertise is fading a bit as the specialists take on younger mechanics, and diversify to work on other brands as time goes on.
There might even be some opportunity for the specialists to 'advertise' in a limited capacity, if that may bolster funds for the website?
Since we changed the host, the site is just about covering costs, so there is no urgency to look for more income.
There is a risk with a list of recommended specialists, in that it would come with the chance of having to monitor negative posts. But I posted on the other thread an existing map of recommended specialists.
