My vert has the lower spec heater/aircon rather than ACC, and the left-hand half of the control panel now fails to illuminate. I understand how to remove the panel, but anyone know how to replace the bulb, or LED or whatever provides the light, please?

OK you've been kept in suspense long enough ;D
It's dead easy! Take the panel out, and the bases of the bulbs can be seen.
I (mis)used a pair of circlip pliers to turn the bulbs - bayonet style - and they drop out. Funniest looking bulbs I've seen though, fortunately mine worked OK after jer-jiggling.
