I thought that there was a reset option on the menu in SID.  Press the "Customise" button and have a look at the Service menu in SID.  It's right at the end of the list.

You need to use the steering wheel controls to scroll round to settings then scroll rond to the service interval and you should be able to reset it from there.

Weather permitting, I'll be doing this very thing tomorrow or the next day after carrying out a service, painting my calipers & discs, consuming numerous cups of tea, and skinning a few knuckles in the process....sorry, I digress. Should be in the handbook. Simples.

Well, in between painting the fascia of the workshop, helping the OH by sharpening the shears so she could tidy the garden before mowing the lawn, just about finished the service apart from lubing locks etc & filling up with oil. The fading light beat me so she is still up on axle stands. Tomorrow after brek - thorough clean of calipers & discs, then painting begins.
Later, down off the stands, fill with oil, run & check, then delete the Spanner.
PS - my replacement air filter has a layer of 5mm white foam firmly stuck on it - I thought it was to protect the paper vanes, but it is stuck on all over. Is this something new, anyone know?
