Hi all, anyone know if you can buy replacement black inserts for early 9-3 bumpers. Mine are looking a bit tatty and are chipped. Had a quick look to see how they fixed to the car, there are no clips I can see, so they must be bonded to the bumper right?

Sorry fella! Lol.Not that impressive, necessity really, trying to make 50 year old Tech keep up with the slowest of todays traffic! I love them though. Had my bike licence for 23 years now I the biggest thing I've ridden is a TZR250! Will get a bike one day. Properly something like a GSX1400.

Its a Vespa PX200, PM drop bars, Malossi 210 kit and a PM pipe. I think the photo was taken in about 1990. At a Mod rally on the Isle of Wight. It was one of my favorite Scooters. Just sold my Lambretta, 1960 TV175 Series II, GP200 motor with a Rapido barrell, 30 mil del'lorto and a JL exhaust. Want a new Vespa GTS300 now! What do you have my friend?

no m8 i believe its the inner seal on the shaft as its not leaking down the block but out of the cap
I've changed my pipes and coolant now. Those 2 pipes to the heater matrix were a right royal PITA to get the clips off & on

Mine is the same. Having to take the Dizzy cap off every now and then and wipe the small amount of oil away.

Please let us know how you get on as I have same problem with my 9-3.

I just been looking on ebay, and there are kits that look like they do the same thing, plug into your changer output. The only major difference is they dont have the AUX input for your ipod, mp3 player housed in a Saab blank.

Hi Tim, I've been using Trolley jack oil (Iso32) for the last year. One thing though, my rams were leaking prior to filling with this stuff, so I thought, Eh! Nothing to loose! Using Lucas Stop leak aswell. Still leaking but not as much. Last top up 6 months ago. No problems with the operation so far. And the hood has been up and down a few times this summer. But to be honest, if there was no leak I would have probably gone genuine.

I would be interested if anyone has fitted one these also.

Got the coil today £38! Bargain. And would you odds it, they supplied the tool in the box! All done now and running sweet! Just one thing though, how long does the SID take to settle down after the battery has been off? My MPG is showing 6.7. Thanks for the replies guys.

Nothing to do with the manifold, turns out its the Ignition coil! Broke down on the way to work Friday morning, called the RAC out, one of their subbies came out to me and diagnosed it within 20 mins. Good old boy. Just started getting it out now, power steering res out, coolant expansion off and the battery removed, what a bugger!  Just trying to get the cap off the coil now, just in case the new coil comes without one. Any ideas on how the wiring cap comes off? looks like a special tool is needed. the cap is held on the the terminals with a weird nut, needs a pronged screw driver or socket. Never seen one.

Can you confirm what year/engine it is- use the VIN decoder pinned in this forum to check then we can make sure we're in the right track:)

Hi all, Just had the mail regarding the new forum, so thought I'd sign up. But still having some problems with my 9-3 and misfiring. Its ok when cruising but when you put your foot down it misses like a bugger but eventually clears. It does the same when pulling away, misses then clears. Now when warm it misses when idling. A real nightmare round town! New plugs fitted, IAC cleaned, hoses checked, TB cleaned in situ. Took it to a local mechanic today and he suggested that it could be drawing air through the inlet manifold gasket. Anyone experienced this? Regards Shaun
