Thanks, for input as always.

I will give it a go, but with the cold weather forecast and no garage as you say it might not set. I suspect it would be easier just to buy the replacement with back plate.  It is only when you have no mirror you realise how often you look at it.

The glass fell off the plastic backing plate.

Thanks

I have looked at the above thread on this re replacement. Just the glass fell off my o/s door today, it didn't break. Is it possible just to stick it back on and what would be the best adhesive to use and how much/where would be the best to apply it?

Thanks

I had a panic just before xmas, went to change to my spare wheels and winter tyres and my locking wheel bolt adaptor sheared off on the first wheel (the castlelated bit,  a 2005 9-5) ) I don't know if I did not seat it completely correctly or not. Thankfully there was one in stock with my code, received it a few days before we were off to the mountains. There was sooooo much snow!
Might even order another one.

On Saturday morning when turning key just a click and nothing, battery appears ok.  I got a lift to work and in the evening and yesterday the car started no problem.  Any ideas  o' knowledgeable ones.
Thanks

'I should be grining ear to ear as the car is booked into my main dealers for the Hirsch upgrade.'   Agreed.

I had mine done last January.  I must admit I don't get anything like that fuel consumption but my overall mileage has dropped a lot and shorter trips after a job change.
