Hi. Had a look at my faulty heater fan speed controller today (06 Dame Edna) and while I was at it got the part number off it for a replacement. Expected to see 5468152 as advertised for 05-09 but instead have 5468160 which is not seen anywhere. Anyone have any idea why the numbers are different and is 5468152 the same. Thanks

Hi. Looking for help as I've just lost the side light and main beam on the drivers side of my 2006 9-5 Dame Edna with HID headlights. Could understand loosing one or the other as asuming they are on seperate circuits and have seperate fuses, relays, but both at the same time? What would cause this as cant be driving round with only one side lit up? Cheers, Lee

Hi. Can anyone advise how best to locate the climate resistor pack on a Dame Edna as the fan speed has lost most of its power.... not a job i'm pleased about! Know its up behind the dash somewhere. Cheers

plug/DI cassette for me. I had the same issue and was actually the plugs for some reason, they looked fine but the cassette jsut didnt like them so put a new set in and all was good.

The speed alters on each setting but would say each setting 50% less that it was. Not done a single bit of work lately apart from wheel alignment, last work inside was the pollen filter 12 months ago! Could it be the fan speed controller or the fan itself, wouldnt of thought the blower speed would still alter if either was faulty though

would being on recirc bypass the pollen filter? tried with recirc on and off and the blow power is the same, just a thought cause the filter is not that old so dont want to take it apart to find its ok!

Ye been out to try it tonight (17 deg) and you can feel a temp difference at the vents with the aircon on and off so not refrigerant this time. Tried it on most temp settings, with and without aircon running but the blow power is just not there, shows its blowing max on the dial but only feeling like its only blowing on half power!

My 2006 Dame Edna has lost I would estimate to be half the blowing power from the climate system. The round iluminated dial goes to full power but its just feels like half the power it was, its the same using hot or cold. Nothing has been changed or messed with and it had a pollen filter a year ago. Any ideas? Thanks, Lee

have to say £295 fittted from Abbott is steep for what it is but if they bring it down to £195 think there may be alot more takers

thanks for the help, time to go shopping :)

so thinking about it then, rather than fit an amp I could just get a ISO harness adaptor, facia adaptor and fit a much better after market head unit?
