Following this with interest. I can see that it is obviously possible for the new cars to be produced with no GM 'bits', given Saab's penchant for doing things 'their way'!. However, I would love to know any details on whose engines will be used. Anyone any ideas?

PS natch, I would like to see a diesel version but realise that this will probably not happen, at least not soon.

I understand that the Chinese market doesn't do diesel.

If they come back with a new version of the 9-5 estate I might be interested ...

As far as I can tell things have been a bit touch and go for NEVS.

Thought I would resurrect this topic a little as there hasn't been much news regarding manufacturing, lately....

I heard yesterday that since sales to the public started on 29th April. Only four cars have received firm orders and only two of these have been delivered.
