Have you ever had DTE that low? if not, is there possibly something in the electrickery to limit performance until one puts more go-go juice in the tank?
Just a thought

I'd get it on Tech-2 if it doesn't go away by itself. My *guess* would be a problem with the turbo control valve as that seems to be the only thing that goes wrong with them and as the valves are £12 they're not really very expensive!

Thanx for the replys.......Im lucky enough to know a good friend who has a garage, so took it down and he connected one of those code reader thingys to my car but there wasnt any codes stored....so he has cleared the error message and had a check round the engine and said it was running perfectly, so told me go drive round and see if it reoccurs, so far its been ok just been out for a short drive and gave it some and all seems ok.....if it does reoccur think it will need hooking up to tech2 to see what the problem is.....

Agree with the turbo control valve.....noticed the turbo gauge flicks into the red zone, which it shouldnt, under heavey acceleration...!

Then I reversed off the drive to sound of twaaaaannnnnggggg........

Yep broken spring.....!!!!

If you've broken a spring then it's a perfect oppertunity to get a set of Hirsch ones. They're excellent.

We have the Hirsch ones.  Get them! :)

When interpreting the turbo gauge, don't forget it's not reading pressure directly.  It shows an electronic signal of a value calculated by the ECU.

Dam it......i should have thought of upgrading to Hirsch springs......anyway £260 for the front pair fitted by my local SAAB garage in Leeds, with a 2 year warranty...!!

Have you gone with that mate?

There's a good indi in Ponti that i'd use over them.. I'd travel to York over using them in Leeds too.
