You need to loosen off the wheel retaining setup and slide the wheel over as far as you can get it in the well so the boot floor will sit down flat but it ensures the DI will have all its oil filling in the right places if you ever need to use it.

Good tip. I've kept my spare in the box the new one came in, but it is forever falling over or getting in the way.

Based on my experience of getting a DI for 1997 900 Turbo late last year, the dealer was able to get one very quickly. Talking to the Parts guy at the dealer he was very positive about the availability SAAB spares.

There are three cassettes listed on Carpartsconnexion - cheapest is £215, but at least you know that they should be genuine.
