Can I get a replacement GLASS for a Xenon headlight on a 52 plate 9-5 Estate or do I have to go for a complete replacement light?

Cheers

Headlamps are all in one after the 2002 facelift.  You could get the glass on the earlier ones that used real glass lens.

I've heard that the glue that holds the front can be softened with a hairdryer.

But there are a lot of people breaking Saabs these days, you should be able to pick up a replacement for not too much.

Have a look at the traders section on www.uksaabs.co.uk and look out for

Thanks anyway for your help.

Luckily it's just the indicator I took out not the headlight. At least a replacement unit won't be anywhere near as much.

My own fault and I'm really annoyed with myself.

Be careful with indicator units, the retaining tab is prone to snapping when removed/replaced. You may want to put a short screw in through the top of the unit when you replace it to make sure it doesn't come loose.

Thanks for the tip.

Is it (replacement) an easy job?

Once you have the indicator out and the front grille.  Middle bit of grille lifts up and out and then you can unclip the side of the grille to get to the bolt.
