Dual exhaust

Today I fitted an exhaust system off an Aero Ttid onto my petrol Aero, I thought the sound would be the same but now it has a nice tone when accelerating similar to a V6, strange as there is now 2 rear boxes to muffle the noise 
I modified my rear valance as I didn't fancy paying the price saab wanted for one with two cut outs, I simply welded a piece of plastic into the original oval hole on the N/S (filled level with plastic padding) and them trimmed both sides to leave a 10mm gap round both tailpipes before a quick coat of fine textured dark grey plastic paint to make it look original.

I'm happy with it

True Andrew, but it's when I get the slippers to match the pipes I'll start to worry
