I'm from Stow-On-The-Wold in the beautiful Cotswolds, but work at RAF Northolt near Ruislip. Middlesex.
I also have connections in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Oxfordshire

And another here (almost!). Originally from Wombourne (Black Country again) now living just south of Aberdeen, Scotland, but can usually be found on a boat floating around the Ekofisk oilfield off Norway

Wombourne? Is that the Wombourne near Kidderminster? I went there once as a space cadet (ATC) to meet up with another squadron there... actually, I think it was a GVC (Girls Venture Corps) Squadron - that must have been back in the mid 70's!

Born near Christchurch (not New Zealand  ), spent 15 years in Scotland (Edinburgh & Callander) but now live in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Trenchfoot, yeah I must visit that base sometime. There is also a memorial there... Most famous squadron - 303 was based there. There is a Spit at Duxford painted in the 303 commanding officer - Zumbach's colours RF-D EN951. Pure delight to watch it flying...

Drac, the memorial is right off the junction of the M40 and is highly regarded and maintained, I often see ceremonies taking place there - the memorial is important and well maintained http://www.ruislip.co.uk/polish/.

Let me know when you are around I could possibly get you in to see some of the old buildings at RAF Northolt,  but truthfully its unrecogniseable now from what it was 5 years ago - even one of the original hangars has been demolished.

Originally Rugby. Yes, I have played on the pitch where the game supposedly started but had to scarper quicky when the groundsman came to chase us off (I was only 11 or so at time).

Now in Falmouth, Cornwall via Southampton, Salisbury, Frimley, and currently with a weekly commute to Filton, Bristol. Must join "Friends of M5/A30" some time - Saab indie gets quite surprised to see me back for next service so soon after the last one.
