Hi all.

Have owned the Aero now for nearly a month and seem to have its measure at last.

Throw this thing into a corner and it just Turns In! And the harder you throw it the more it does it.
The ReAxs passive rear steer and short steering rack really make this car make you want to Drive it. Relatively wide tyres make it stick and
there is next to no body roll. You can put it just where you want with lots of confidence.

Such a different car to the 9-5 in any ways. In a good way!

Fun, isn't it?
But take note that the 9-3 does eat front tyres for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper ;)

And when it does let go...it's lets go.

Had a scary moment on the M5 Entry slip road at Burnham on Sea!!

I've only had one scary moment in mine and that was due to a diesel spillage on the road :o

I have heard the rear inner pads wear a bit faster too, when the CBC kicks in a bit. On the 9-5 it buzzed quite a lot, but that was the stability control working overtime. Maybe a bit too intrusive at times. With this one, you can't hear or feel it.  I didn't mind the noise actually as the car said back to you..'maybe a little more care at this roundabout next time'...

The 9-3 seems really wound up in comparison. Indeed, lots of fun.
Loving the manual mode too. Get around the slight delay in the gear change and it really pushes hard off the line.

Mind you, the 9-5 Aero in Launch mode was a real weapon off the line, and from 100-150km/h. Truly excellent overtaking. Somehow the throttle stab told the gearbox that you really wanted to move and it delivered in spades. Not to be done with passengers though. Miss that a lot.

Problem.

How do I get my keys back from 'The Boss'. She has fallen for it in a big way.
