As this get together is on the same day as the SAAB meeting in Trollhattan

and though we cannot be there in person I thought we should do 'our bit' here in the West Country.
So it has been renamed as the 'GWS January Stroll for SAAB 2012' ;)

Ashton Court mansion it is, with  sunday lunch at The Dovecote, which is situated on the edge of Ashton Court estate, so we can walk there, weather permitting.

Route plan for the day is here

Many thanks to everyone for taking time out to attend our little gathering. The weather was kind, the walk not too difficult and the company great (as always).  :)

And those who made it to the top of the hills...

Well done! :)  It was a bit flatter up our way and I only did the Bletchley Park Museum after the Saab meet at Cranfield.

I'm trying to get back to walking in the Chilterns, but I have "done something" to my knee. :(

Cheers Will. It was cold but as you can see everyone was well wrapped. A most enjoyable day spent chatting meeting new SAAB friends
I know what you mean about knees   ::)
