Canbus? Light Failure Warning

can this system be shut off via tech 2  so that led bulbs can be fitted with out the light failure warning popping up??

Hi

You can buy LED's that dont bring on the Warning Lamp, they are more expensive however.

If you search for Can-Bus LEDs or 'Error free' LEDs you will find them. Plenty on eBay but I don't know how the quality will be  ???

You know, I really wouldn't bother with leds. There is minimal benefit on a car that wasn't designed for them.

I've only ever fitted them in lieu of normal number plate and sidelight bulbs. Aesthetically, they look much better on the number-plate than standard bulbs - but agreed, there is otherwise, little point
