Tow bar electrics pre-wired on a 9-3 Convertible

Hi,

I have just fitted a tow bar to my '98 convertible.

On previous SAABs I have fitted a tow bar on there was a pre-wired connector in the boot to attach the new tow bar wiring to.

Is the likely to be one on my Convertible?  If so, where should I start looking?

Bit late, just saw the post.
Yes there is pre wiring in your convertible. You need the tow bar wiring kit and plug it in. I know because I have one. It was incorrectly supplied for my 09 convertible.

Please can you point me in the right direction.  Is it to the left or right of the boot space?  Front or back?

For the convertible the WIS says:

"In boot, below left hand rear light cluster".


(attached picture is the same whether I choose 3dr, 5dr or convertible!    )

(technically they're pirate versions but personally I don't have a problem with this kind of piracy as I don't see why you shouldn't be allowed the information required to be able to fix your car, especially with Saab being dead right now!).
