Thinking of selling
« on: 24 May 2012, 03:51:31 PM »
Hi men.
Not sure if this is in the correct section but i'm sure one of the mods will move to correct section :)

I am thinking of selling my Saab 900 2.0i XS. It is a late 1998 model with full leather interior, audio package 2 and Air con. It has had three owners, the original buyer,a friend of mine & then myself. I have the original Saab folder with manuals and an extensive pile of reciepts for servicing including the original bill of sale. It hasbeen serviced regularly by my local mechanic since i have owned it.
The car is in very good condition for its age i believe. No rust on the outside, just a few stonechips, couple of tiny dents and light scratches. Ihave also just today had 2 new rear tyres fitted and the tracking done.
My question is can anyone give me a rough guide of what i can expect to get for this car? Im thinking of £800 ish. Would that be too optimistic?
Thanks in advance.
Mick.

It really depends on the mileage... although unless it was totally mint with a full Saab history £800 is probably a bit steep, not much call for cars like that as they're quite fuel hungry compared to what else you can get for £800.
