The 9-5 only got an AUX-in socket on the 2006-on Dame Edna with the radio head unit.

Earlier cars had no AUX-in, neither did the Dame Ednas with the Denso sat-nav.

Unless it's at the back of the head unit then there's no aux in on my system.

I have a Sansa Fuze velcro'd to my dash.

Seems like the main interface requirement is Velcro...
Nobody likes a smartarse - until they need one.
