Welcome Ylee  8)

Still miss that Carlsson. I'm always keeping my eye out on Autotrader / Ebay etc for them. Very few 9000's for sale these days let alone Carlssons..

I wish they had sold those here in the US - I was on my way of making my own when I owned my late 87' 9000T - but alas it curcame to rust and I was due for a newer car at the time.  I miss that car still - less now that I have an 86' - but it's not the same, but damn close.

I had a complete Carlsson kit however - I imported the wing and 3rd brake light from the UK and found the kit on a car in a local junk yard believe it or not - even was the right color.

My old 87' in it's prime with just shy of 300,000 MILES;

In it's last days of glory - helping build my then "new to me" current 95' 9000

dont claim mine is a Carlsson however I think that it is a CSE Turbo 200bhp with a factory fitted Sports option. Carly seats with suede inserts/ 16" Carly wheels and suspension. Momo steering wheel (non airbag) exhaust and small black boot spoiler. 1993 (K) with TCS (never missed a beat) Great combination of innocuous saloon and stealth bomber imo. 240k and counting.

My 1990 Carlsson is currently on SORN.

Running well, 158k, the arrival of a new (MY04) 9-5 has eaten into the insurance/tax fund for the Carly.

Much better than when I got it, lots of niggles to sort out, but great now...except for the bubbling tin worm in the traditional places (lower door edges and front wheel arches).
