just changed crankshaft position sensor , won't start, receive gearbox malfunction limited performance contact dealer code
Any advice before i call.

Did you check the resistance of the old one?

May be worth checking the resistance of the new one.   The CPS is fitted with an O ring seal.  Did you get the old one out with the old sensor?  If there are two in there the sensing gap may be too big.  Also check the connectors for pins that have been pushed in or something silly like that.

Is the new sensor a genuine Saab one? And the right part number?

CPS is snug only one o-ring
Not genuine Saab got it from advance auto, did check saab they are the exact same part. Any other ideas?

I think the only way to check is to put back the old one and see if it does start.  Then you will know if the new one is faulty or incorrect or you have a wiring fault.
