Car Alarms

On the car ferry one is exhorted to turn off one's car alarm. I have no idea how to do, the manual doesn't help. Any ideas?

Press the Night Panel button as you leave the car. That will disable the tilt sensor and glass break alarm. Doors will still be alarmed.

The dash display will show "Door alarm only" or something similar. Alarm system will revert to normal automatically the next time you unlock the car.
