Or maybe not...  Just had a look at the new manual online - reason for refusal "A headlamp levelling or cleaning device inoperative or otherwise obviously defective". If none is fiitted, it seems it will not be a failure, so I should be OK.

No, this is for Xenon lamps only.

CitTone - i think you'll find a lot of those smaller cars look like Xenon's but are just projector lamps that give the blueish tinge. My wifes Volvo V50 looks like Xenon but are normal halogen projectors.

It will be interesting to see how Renaults get on as quite a few of the last Laguna had xenon's but no washer jets from new! Mind you most of them spent more time in garage than on road!
