9 5 heater control panel display air con

Hi All.
The illumination has failed on one half of my air con display... If I shine a torch at the display I can see that the display is still working. Is it possible to change a bulb or repair in some way?

Sounds like one of the bulbs has failed, all you need to do to replace them is pull the unit out and the bulbs unscrew from the back. Saab part no. 12768303 although you probably want to look for cheaper alternatives from somewhere as I think they're a fiver each.

Thanks for the info. Must admit it's a bit of a relief, I had visions of replacing the whole thing..

Even if it was that bad it wouldn't cost much for a second hand unit, there's plenty floating about these days and they are almost unsellable as they are pretty reliable.

Yes.. I notice some on ebay, just need to work out how to release it from the dash now!

Protect the dashboard with tape and lever it out.

Sorted now, thanks for the help guys... as a temporary fix I moved a bulb from another part of the controller.
