New Car Scam? Inside Out - BBC1 7.30pm tonight.

Just been told that there's a report on a new scam that can deprive you of you car.

Car is security on a loan.  Security is that the lender keeps the V5.  Money lender/Usurer high interest rates.  Can't meet the payments so sell the car, but it's not yours to sell anymore!!

If you buy the car, it will not be yours and will be repossessed.  The loan is unofficial so it doesn't show up on HPI checks and the like.
