Now that I've had the rear arches done, I wanted to look at getting the car waxoyled and undersealed if possible. I got referred to a garage on the edge of Coventry, and on Thursday, I took a drive over there to see them.
The guy got the car on the ramp and let me have a look round underneath. Whilst the body looks in good shape, the subframes and suspension, shock absorbers and brake backplates are all looking quite crusty. Still solid though.
He had a good look round, and said what they would do is waxoyl in all box sections (including sills) and inside the subframes. They would wire brush all the rust off, and then bitumen underseal all the subframes, suspension components and body (including wheelarches) as required.
I know someone who had a Transit done and said it had cost around 350 quid, so I was prepared for around that. Anyway, he came back and said there was a bit of labour involved, but I'd be looking at £120. I said "Is that all??!!!!

So that is on the to do list.
However, whilst under the car, we noted an engine oil leak. Now it has never dripped on the driveway yet, but the bottom of the engine had a film of oil over it. So I need to get that sorted first if possible.
I am hoping to get the throttle body cleaned, new bonnet cable fitted, and maybe get the car serviced at WMSS again, so will try and find out what that might be.
